1. Opening the Application

When you open the Hunter’s Tracker app, you will see three main menu items:

• MAP
• ACTIVITIES
• SETTINGS

In the top right corner, there is a battery indicator showing the tracker’s battery status.

Battery indicator colours:

• Green: 60–100%
• Yellow: 20–60%
• Red: 0–20%

You will receive a notification when the battery level reaches 20% and changes to red.

The MAP section displays the area map showing the current location of the tracker.

You can:

• Zoom in and out of the map.
• Manage multiple trackers under the UNITS submenu.

By default, each tracker is named DOG followed by a number (e.g., DOG1, DOG2).
You can rename each tracker under SETTINGS.

Each UNIT has its own submenu displaying:

• The dog’s name.
• A time indicator, adjustable to show movements within a chosen time frame.
• The maximum speed of the dog.
• The average speed of the dog.
• The outdoor temperature.
• A battery indicator showing the tracker’s power level.

The ACTIVITIES section provides the same data as the MAP view but includes an additional feature:

• If entered under SETTINGS, you can view your female dog’s next heat cycle prediction.

The SETTINGS section includes the following submenus:

• NAME
• GEOFENCE
• SET CONTACT
• HEAT CYCLE
• SCAN NEW UNITS
• SEE GUIDE
• ORDER A NEW UNIT
• ABOUT

Allows you to rename the tracker as you prefer.

Lets you create and name a geofence area—a virtual boundary for your dog.

• You will receive a notification if the tracker moves outside the designated area.
• The geofence is defined by four adjustable points on the map.
• You can move individual points or drag the entire area by repositioning the arrow on the map.

Defines how frequently the tracker sends a location signal.

• The interval can be set from 0 minutes to any chosen duration.
• When set to 0 minutes, the tracker sends a location update approximately every 10–20 seconds.
  
  Note:
  The more frequently the tracker sends signals, the faster the battery drains.
  A fully charged tracker can send around 500 location updates, sufficient for a full day of hunting.
  
  Recommendation:
• During hunts: set CONTACT to 1–2 minutes.
• If you lose connection to your dog: set CONTACT to 0 minutes. You will receive location updates every 10–20 seconds within 1–2 minutes.

Battery-saving tip:
If the included FREEZONE is close to the tracker (e.g., during lunch or a break), the tracker will stop sending location signals, conserving battery power.

A built-in calendar that helps track your female dog’s heat cycle.

• Female dogs usually come into heat twice a year.
• The heat cycle typically lasts about three weeks:
• Pro-oestrus (Pre-heat): ~9 days (with bleeding)
• Oestrus (Heat): ~9 days (fertile and receptive)
• The next heat usually occurs after 180–200 days, though this varies individually.

Used to add a new tracker to the app when you have multiple dogs.

Provides instructions on how to set up and use the tracker within the app.

Allows you to order an additional tracker directly through the app.

Displays:

• Licences and app version.
• You will receive notifications when software updates become available.
